Power Tether - Adventure-Ready Peace of Mind

Designed by a team of five Year 13 Mount Aspiring College students building a real business through the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES). Born out of a love for the outdoors and a deep fear of watching a phone drop off a chairlift, they created Power Tether.

Designed right here in Wānaka by skiers for skiers, Power Tether features a secure, 60cm elasticated cord with heavy-duty carabiners to keep your phone safely anchored to your gear, jacket pocket, or belt loop while you carve up the slopes. 

Their mission is to give outdoor adventurers total peace of mind. By preventing lost or damaged phones on the mountain, they're not just saving your tech, photos, and money - they’re also actively reducing unnecessary electronic waste.
