MT Outdoors Live Music/Adventure Inspiration Social Night

A social evening of summer adventure inspiration!

We have a presentation lined up on the new Tititea Aspiring guidebook and the adventures had in putting it together (speaker TBC next week). Followed by live music from Dave Henley Music on his 100 Suns Project (100 gigs, 100 songs).

The guidebook was co-authored by local Neil Sloan and part-time local, Nick Shearer. The pair adventured to many corners of our big back yard re-establishing old routes and forging new routes. Neil took many stunning photos of the landscape and we hope to be able to share some of these with you on the evening. 

Dave's project is all about enlivenment, the rising of each new sun and the opportunity to embrace a new day...

• The 100 SUNS PROJECT is Inspired by the Sun! - and the possibilities and invitation of each sunrise/set - a reminder & chance to tune in, breathe in and live life!
• 100 SUNS Gigs are all intimate and often co-created with keen hosts 
• The Project has 'Aliveness' at its heart - bringing people together, enjoying live music, creativity, community and being alive!
• Will feature at least 1 new song per gig.
• Are ticketed or a suggested Koha $15-25 (to support the project & also the songwriting behind it)

Dave's music pulls together Upbeat Folk and Indie and adds a splash of South American Rhythm and pinch of Gypsy Swing. Keeping it raw, real and intimate - but with plenty of energy.

Joins us at our 3 Parks store on Thursday 10th of October from 6:30pm with kick-off at 6:45pm. Well start with the presentation, followed by Q&A and then kick into Dave's 100 Suns gig!

BYO drinks, nibbles and cushions and a koha/donation ($15-$25 suggested). 

$10 from every sale of Tititea Aspiring and the Otago Alps guidebook will be donated to the Kea Conservation Trust.
