Katadyn BeFree Filter AC 0.5L

Clean water for wherever the track takes you

From a day out at Hospital Flat to multi-day missions in the Southern Alps, the Katadyn BeFree™ AC makes it easy to carry less water and refill safely along the way.

Its two-stage filtration combines activated carbon with Katadyn’s trusted BeFree™ EZ-Clean Membrane™, reducing unpleasant tastes and odours while providing clean, fresh water from suitable natural sources. With flow rates of up to 2 litres per minute, you can quickly top up from streams, rivers and lakes when you’re out exploring.

The tough, double-layer flask keeps things lightweight and packable, while the integrated handle makes it easy to carry or clip to your pack. The Flip-Cap™ helps prevent spills when you’re bouncing along a track, and cleaning the filter is as simple as giving it a shake or swish in water.

For day missions, hut trips, ski touring, climbing adventures or bigger objectives in the Southern Alps, the BeFree™ AC is a simple way to keep fresh water close at hand.
